Global Task Forces
GOPAC’s Global Task Forces (GTFs) are regionally representative groups of legislators and former legislators who champion specific issues critical to the fight against corruption. GTF members are animators for their GTFs within their respective regions and promote the GTFs’ agendas with their peers and their national parliaments. It is through our GTFs that GOPAC helps our members introduce legislative and oversight changes in national parliaments to control corruption, promote good governance, and hold the executive accountable to the people.

- With support from the Global Secretariat, GTF members participate in the following activities :
- Knowledge dissemination and information sharing through:
- Participating in capacity building workshops and regional and international events
- Conducting research and drafting content for user-friendly handbooks, reports, policy papers and case studies
- Peer-to-peer engagement, learning and relationship building
- Advocacy work to implement and enforce anti-corruption legislation and promote democratic principles worldwide
Why Become a Global Task Force Member?
- Becoming a GTF member will allow you to:
- Join a group of recognized international experts in the field of anti-corruption.
- Participate in training offered by the Global Secretariat.
- Learn and share knowledge with peers across borders.
- Participate in the creation, implementation, and enforcement of legislation that will enhance the global anti-corruption agenda.
- Make a difference in the fight against corruption.
Who Can Become a Global Task Force Member?
- GOPAC is looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable and motivated serving and former legislators who are committed to creating a corruption-free world. GTF members are asked to volunteer their time as experts to any one of the six Global Task Forces. GTF Members must meet the following criteria:
- Be committed to principles of anti-corruption, good governance and democratization.
- Be an informed expert on anti-corruption subject matter.
- Be a GOPAC member.
- Be available to volunteer on average one day per month.
