GOPAC’s Annual Report for the 2014-2015 fiscal year is now available online. In our latest report, read about GOPAC’s most recent activities and accomplishments, none of which would have been possible without the support and tireless efforts of our members. Last year, GOPAC was proud to welcome five new national chapters, adding numerous dedicated anti-corruption fighters to our worldwide membership.

Niue Parliamentarians Seek to Join Global Anti-Corruption Network
Niue’s Legislative Assembly parliamentarians are aiming to form a Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) national chapter and gain a deeper understanding of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), following a three-day workshop in the Pacific island nation last week.

Canada’s Role in Combatting Global Corruption: Canadian Club of Victoria Luncheon with the Hon Roy Cullen
GOPAC Anti-Money Laundering Global Task Force member Hon Roy Cullen, P.C, C.A. delivered a presentation on how Canada has been and continues to be an ardent supporter of the anti-corruption movement at the Canadian Club of Victoria. He urged the government to emulate the efforts of the United Kingdom with respect to the creation of a publicly-accessible registry of beneficial owners of companies operating within the country.
